Elcomed Sdn Bhd is the authorised representative & sole importer & distributor of the Agnitio BioIC allergy testing system from Agnitio, all series ultrasound from Alpinion Medical Systems, WED-190 portable ultrasound from Well.D, URIT-50 urine analyzer from URIT, Z3 CRP hematology analyser from Zybio and all series ECG analyzers from CMICS.
Elcomed Sdn Bhd has the largest hematology analyser user base in Malaysia since 2019 until to date. Elcomed Sdn Bhd has successfully installed the Zybio Z3 CRP analyser in over 500 general practitioner clinics across the country including prominent chain clinics such as Mediviron, Anda, Utama, Segara, Medipulse, Medic 360, Najwa, Primer, Hijraa, Raudhah, Safwa, etc. In addition, there are also over 20 child specialist clinics and hospital A&E departments using the same anaylser. Besides, Elcomed Sdn Bhd has also installed ultrasound in chain hospitals and clinics such as KPJ, Columbia Asia, Klinik Utama, Klinik Medic 360, Klinik Medipulse, klinik Dr Najwa, Klinik Ajwa, Klinik Mediviron etc.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Elcomed Sdn Bhd has emerged to be the market leader in rapid tests (No.1 COVID-19 & Influenza & Dengue). The company has been given the authorisation to distribute the first Ministry of Health Malaysia approved COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test Kit in the country i.e. SD Biosensor COVID-19 Ag Test Kit. Since its launch in end 2020 till now, Elcomed Sdn Bhd has supplied more than half a million tests to clinics and hospitals nationwide.
Elcomed Sdn Bhd is playing an important role in local allergy testing market (Installation sites include Sunway Velocity Medical Centre, Avisena Women & Children Hospital, Columbia Asia Hospital Setapak, Life Care Medical Centre & Assunta Hospital as well as leading commercial laboratories including Premier Integrated, Gnosis, Eurofins Medican, Dunia Wellness, Nexus Lab, etc.). The adoption of Agnitio BioIC Allergy Test System by Premier Integrated Lab in Jun 2023 has enabled the company to penetrate into all the Parkway Pantai Hospital & Gleneagles Hospitals across the country. In 2023, Elcomed Sdn Bhd has emerged to become the country No.1 allergy test provider with the largest number of tests done.
Elcomed Sdn Bhd’s founder Vincent who is also an engineer with more than 15 years’ experience in servicing & marketing imaging and in-vitro diagnostics is leading the company overall operation as well as technical department with the assistance of head of engineer Lee to ensure best after-sales services. Whereas, co-founder Yong who is also a pharmacist with more than 15 years’ experience in in-vitro diagnostics is leading the sales and clinical application team to consolidate and integrate our diagnostic products with treatment solutions to doctors especially in general health screening, acute diseases and allergy management.
Elcomed East Coast Sdn Bhd is the authorised distributor for the sales and marketing of all the company medical products in East Coast including Pahang, Terengganu & Kelantan. Co-founder Joseph Ong is fully in-charge and leading the company sales team (one sales representative in each state) to promote the latest products to every customer as well as deliver a very close and tremendous after sales support.

Elcomed Sdn Bhd is a key player in point-of-care testing market and has earned a group of loyal customers over the past 5 years. These loyal customers consist of leading private practices, private hospitals, company clinics, government hospitals & institutions and government health centres.
Elcomed Sdn Bhd has a young but experienced team of sales executives led by sales & marketing directors who are supported by service engineers and application specialists working synergistically on account management basis. In 2022, Elcomed East Coast Sdn Bhd has been set up an office in Kuantan, Pahang with three sales executives & one service engineer to ensure timely service to East Coast users as well as to capture more market shares in this fastest-growing state. Whereas, two experienced Sales Executives and Service Engineers are covering Northern & Southern states. In the scarcely populated market segments like East Malaysia, Elcomed Sdn Bhd works with local partners who have stronger local and service capability.
In Jan 2023, Elcomed Sdn Bhd has moved to its own brand new 3-storey semi-detached warehouse which strategically located in Kajang, Selangor which currently houses total workforce of 30. The company is expanding further with target workforce of 50 by end of 2024.
Corporate Plan
Elcomed Sdn Bhd will work creatively to maintain and accelerate the expansion of its current market leadership position in point-of-care diagnostics, USG, allergy testing and related treatments to enable doctors to deliver better healthcare to patients. In April 2024, Elcomed Sdn Bhd has set up the pharmaceutical division with the warehouse in its current premise as well as the sales team led by 2 experienced pharmacists.
Elcomed Sdn Bhd will also strive to obtain a sizeable market share in hospital imaging & laboratory diagnostics and related equipment business; including leadership in testing sectors like POCT, ultrasound and emerging fields such as allergy that offer good market growth potential. In the longer term, Elcomed Sdn Bhd aims to position herself to participate in high technology medical and life sciences that include will include molecular, genome and proteomic testing.
